Nice, big and solid Louis XIV oignon watch. France, circa 1710.
Diameter is 57mm, height is 64mm, thickness is 36mm.
Balance bridge is decorated with beautiful ornament, typical for Louis XIV epoch.
Thick verge fusee movement is signed by Pothenot in Paris, surrounded plate is nicely engraved.
Unusually both winding and slow/fast regulation should be made for male keys (which is supplied to the watch).
White porcelain dial with convex numbers.
Plain silver case.
Dial is in good condition with some faint hairlines and minor reparation near the edges.
Movement is running in every position, though I don't guarantee time keeping.
Blued hands, mineral crystal.
The case appears to be in good condition with some wear.
Overall good watch in decent condition.
