Beautiful watch in 18k golden case decorated with champleve enamel.
This type of enameling is done by carving cells, which are filled by black enamel.
The watch case bear French standard gold hallmarks (18k gold) used from 1818 to 1838 as well as maker's mark.
Beautiful floral ornament covers back and front covers and the rim.
The movement is probably Swiss but may be French. It's typical high quality flat calibre, used in Geneve and similar to French Breguet and Lepine one.
Such enamel enamel watches are being kept by museums worldwide including British museum, Metropolitan museum and so on.
The ex-centered dial is very nice, it's made of solid silver and beautifully guilloched. It's in excellent condition.
The case is in good condition without minor defect to enamel, please look photos.
Flat movement is in good working condition (what is not always the case, such flat cylinder movement are delicate).
