Art-Deco Octagonal PLATINUM & DIAMOND Antique Pocket Watch with BLUE JEWELS SET MOVEMENT

Beautiful pocket watch of octagonal shape, in platinum case.
Switzerland, should be for American market, c. 1930, Art Deco period.
The side measure 41mm, diagonal is 49mm, weight is 43 grams.


Watch feature movement based on LeCoultre cal. 415 with unusual blue sapphires jewels set.
“Pocket watches fitted with blue sapphire jewels are among the rarest creations in fine watchmaking. Only a few examples are known, primarily produced for the American market in the early 20th century.” - Antiquorum (sale of Nov 09, 2025, lot 288)

The watch is made in truly Art Deco spirit, in the octagonal shaped case solid platinum case, beautifully decorated with diamonds and engraving. Please note that crystal is also octagonal shaped. The diamonds are of good quality, with good color and clarity.
The rodium-plated movement perfectly matches to the platinum case and blue movement jewels pairs to dial blue numbers.

Watch should be Swiss production for some American private label.


Condition
The watch appears to be in good condition.
Movement is in good condition and functions correctly.
Case is generally fine, however some dents are present on the back cover. One diamond seems to be replaced.
Dial is in very nice condition with some patina.
Original blued hands, acrylic crystal.
