Beautiful pair cased verge fusee watch.
Diameter of outer case is 56mm, inner case is 47mm.
Watch features date indication, visible through opening in silver champleve dial.
The movement features beautiful silver balance bridge with mock pendulum and genre scene depicting cargo loading to the ship.
The balance bridge is signed "Le commerce".
The pillars are ornamented with nice silver baroque dolphins.
Watch is signed by Shearwood London and bears hallmakrs for 1765, however watch style is more typical for Dutch production.
Condition
The movement is in running condition, time keeping not tested.
Date is changing every day as it should.
The case is in good condition with some minor wear.
Silver champleve dial appears to be in good condition.
Overall nice condition.
