The watch is signed by Henry Moser & Cie on the dial and inside the back cover.
Case also bears serial number and Imperial Russian hallmarks for 14k gold, dating it pre-1917.
Henry Moser & Cies was one of the most reputable companies on Imperial Russian market. It was supplier to Empress Alexandra, since 1913 obtained supplier to Imperial Court status and produced gift watches from Imperial Family.
Movement is built on
A. Lugrin (became Lemania in 1924, merged im 1932 with Tissot & Omega, being responsible for chronograph's, including Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch) ebauche and bears Swiss patent 359 hallmark, registered by A. Lugrin in 1889.
Movement is finished to high grade, chronograph's bridges are made of nickel, making nice contrast to the gilt of movement. Steel parts are polished and bevelled.
Condition
The movement is in good running condition, though as usual, cleaning is recommended.
Chronograph functions as it should.
Case has some dents and period wear.
Dial seems to be flawless.
