Portrait Miniature Early 1700s Champleve DIAL Pair Cased Verge Fusee Antique Pocket Watch

Beautiful pair cased verge fusee watch.
Diameter of outer case is 60mm, inner case diameter is 51mm.
Switzerland, circa 1710s.

Dial and movement are signed by Paul Lullin.
O. Patrizzi in "Dictionnaire des horlgers Genevois" records Paul Lullin - Master watchmaker of very high reputation, first tier of XVIII.
Simple watches of English style, slim ones, as well as onion watches in French style with pendulum or enamel balance bridge.

The watch on sale is made in English style of early XVIII - it features beautiful cock of symmetrical design with nice grotesque mask, Egyptian pillars typical for 1700-1710s.
However, the watch is unusually flat for period watches.

Watch features the portrait of man in red tunic, over the English coat of arms - should be portrait of William III of England.

Condition
The high quality movement is in running condition.
Silver champleve dial is in perfect condition.
The case is generally fine, some typical traces soft soldering near pendant.
Overall nice condition.
