Very nice Louis XIV oignon watch. France, circa 1700s.
Diameter is 57 mm, thickness is 35mm.

Beautiful gilt dial with porcelain cartouches.
The medallion in the center of dial is nicely decorated with birds and floral motif.
Oversized balance bridge, decorated with animal and floral ornament, typically for French Louis XIV oignon watches.
The case is richly decorated with arabesques.
Watch is signed by Terrier in Paris.

David Terrier is recorded by Tardy in Paris.
He became Master Watchmaker in 1696, was member of Jury from 1713 to 1721.

Condition
Condition is quite nice.
Couple cartouches bears traces of reparations, otherwise the dial is in good condition.
Movement is running in every position, though I don't guarantee time keeping.
The brass case is in ok condition, with normal period wear.
