Good quarter repeater and chronograph in solid 14k gold hunter case. Circa 1890s.
Watch is quite big, diameter is 59mm, height without bow is 73mm, weight is 126 grams.
Watch is production of J. Meylan Truan et fils, from Le Sentier, Switzerland. It bears company patent N 4252 mark. J. Meylan Truan & fils company was founded is 1860. According to the documents from Geneva National Exposition of 1896, company produced mostly complicated watches, especially with repeater function. Earlier, J. Meylan Truan & fils obtained exposition medals in Paris, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Liperpool in various years.
Nice repeater movement is driven by slider, it's nickel plated and features several nice chatons.
Case bears Swiss and German hallmarks for 14k gold.
The watch appears to be in good condition.
Movement is in running condition, though I don't guarantee time keeping.

Case is has minor dents but is in generally good condition.
