Very nice single handed Louis XIV oignon watch. France, circa 1690s.
Diameter is 60mm, thickness is 36mm.

Beautiful gilt dial with porcelain cartouches.
Very big balance bridge takes almost all space of the top plate, typically for French oignon watches of late XVII century.
The balance bridge is very nice, it's beautifully engraved and decorated with floral and birds ornament.
Watch is signed by Pascal Hubert in Rouen.

Pascal Hubert was member of most noted watchmaker's family Hubert from Rouen. It need to note, that in late XVII century, Rouen was second largest watchmaking center in France, after Paris.
According Tardy book, Pascal Hubert was received master degree in 1649, he died in 1701.


Condition
Condition is quite nice.
Dial is in good condition condition.
Movement is running in every position, though I don't guarantee time keeping.
The plain brass case is in ok condition, with some period wear.
