Small quarter repeater in solid 18k gold case.
Case diameter is only 41mm - the diameter of medium-sized gents wristwatch.
The weight is quite heavy for its size - 64 grams.
Despite of it's size, movement is finished to the high grade, should be more that 30 jewels.
It's jeweled to the hammers, all escapement train features counterpivots and is fully jeweled. Winding wheels are mat polished, all other steel parts are mirror polished and bevelled. Very high quality movement.

Badollets were an eminent family of watchmakers and watch firms with an unbroken succession from the 16th century to the early 20th century.
Jean Jaques Badollet (1756-1829) was active as a watchmaker from 1770. He opened the firm of J. J. BADOLLET in Geneva in 1779.
Chapuis said (p. 115) that after Breguet returned to France (he had been in Switzerland during the Revolution) in 1796 he bought ebauches and finished watches from BADOLLET.
The firm changed several owners and finally was renamed back to J.J. Badollet & Cie in 1890.
Company had some partnerships with A. Potter and CH Meylan.
It produced high quality pieces, participated in Geneva Chronometric competitions and produced among other complicated and ultra-small movements.
In 1925 company was one of the only four companies still producing watches in Geneva.
