Beautiful skeletonized repeating pocket watch with verge escapement movement.
The window in the dial is covered by mineral glass, opening good finished repeating mechanism with mirror polished details.
The plate is beautifully engraved, hour and minute wheel are also nicely skeletonized.

Nicely pierced and engraved balance bridge with six-pointed star in style of beginning of XIX century, circa 1820s.
Movement and dial are unsigned.

This autumn German auction house from Manheim sold similar watch signed by Berthoud (for 4000 euros + about 1000 sale fees).
Similar watch signed by Breguet A Paris is being kept by Time Museum in Besançon, French watch capital.
Obviously, this all these watches are based on single ebauche, French or Swiss.

Technically watch is in running condition and works in every position. But as lot of verge fusee watches it tends to go to fast, gaining about 40 minutes per day.
Repetition is in working condition, please see video below the photos.

Cosmetic condition is descent - dial is with minor imperfections, please see photos.
Solid 18k gold case has minor dings and dents, some perfectly acceptable wear.

Diameter of the watch is 54 mm, height is 67mm. Weight is 100 grams.
Good collector item.
